Here For Now Theatre, Stratford's award-winning independent theatre, brings nine new Canadian plays to its intimate downtown stage in 2027, with five of the seven main productions being comedies.
Limited Engagement: Dora Maar: Picasso's Wicked One
By Beth Graham and Daniela Vlaskalic | Directed by Blake Brooker
Daniela Vlaskalic plays surrealist photographer Dora Maar, whose 1935 meeting with Pablo Picasso in a Paris café pulls her into his orbit through the war years. Back after a successful 2026 run, this one-woman play based on true events asks what an artist gives up to become someone else's muse. It runs for just four days, so book early.
